Today, operating room staff rely on a 9 kg lead apron for protection. While this shields the torso, the skull and jaw remain exposed, leading to documented health risks and limiting the number of procedures medical teams can safely perform.
Our Solution
Our FDA-approved device provides comprehensive protection by:
• Lowering a specialized protective screen in the area where radiation exits after passing through the patient’s body – reducing exposure by 95%.
• Optionally adding a lightweight 2 kg non-lead garment to increase protection to 99%.
The system is already installed and in use at multiple hospitals.
